GROOM, WASH AND CONDITIONING

With a unique grooming tool we can eliminate dead undercoat, knots, loose skin flakes, dirt/grit etc from your dog’s coat. Our dog groomers carry out nail clipping, ears are checked and cleaned and then your pet is bathed using all hypo-allergenic shampoos.

We use a gentle chamomile infused conditioner to give coats body and shine. Dogs are turbo blow dried by hand and then groomed with a slicker brush. Finally our dog groomers will give your pet an invigorating rub down with Dial a Dog Wash’s own 9 essential oil cologne – for a sweet smelling coat every time.

Remember Regular Washes will help to keep your dogs moulting under control,meaning less dead hair for you to clean up around your home!!!

MICRO-CHIPPING

Just £25 per dog. We are usually happy to offer a discount if booked in with a wash/clip. Great Discounts for Breeders and litters.

NAIL TRIMMING

£20 for all dogs. For any additional dog which simply needs its nails done when we are already out grooming another dog for you there is a flat £15 charge.

 

FLEA TREATMENTS

Prices vary, depending on size and breed – starting from £5. Please ask our groomers for a quote.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE MORE ON OCCASION WHERE THE DOG IS GOING TO TAKE FAR LONGER TO GROOM THAT IS NORMAL FOR THAT BREED, DUE TO COAT CONDITION (MATTED), OR TEMPERAMENT. WE WILL ALWAYS MAKE YOU AWARE WHILST WE ARE GROOMING THE DOG.

Dog Grooming Tips

How to maintain a healthy coat in between appointments

By choosing Dial a Dog Wash for regular personalised dog grooming in Coventry, Nuneaton and Bedworth you are keeping your dog’s coat in optimum condition. Here are a few pointers for keeping him or her clean and healthy in between our visits.

  • Dog grooming should be a pleasant experience for your pet – be gentle at all times
  • Brush out the coat first, using a slicker brush if the condition of the coat is good. Never brush too hard - this can result in painful ‘brush burn’.
  • Please don’t try to de-matt or cut out knots yourself using scissors – it is all too easy to cut too close and nick the skin.
  • If you wish to shampoo your dog never use human or baby shampoo. We recommend you use a pet formulated shampoo to enhance the coat’s moisture and health and our products (shampoos, conditioners and treatments) are all chemical free, natural products.
  • Beware bathing a dog with matted hair. This tightens matts and makes them harder to remove by our dog groomers. Your pet’s skin could also become irritated by residual damp and shampoo in the matts.
